Classically trained in piano and guitar in the UK, he composes a vein of house music that combines old school influences from around the world infused with a sophisticated and dynamic style. Coupe started to release music under his alias just a couple years ago receiving early support from Jamie XX, Disclosure (playing b2b in Miami) and PAWSA among many others. You may also find him on multiple Vinyl Only collaborations with his brother Adrien Calvet or as 1/2 of Soul Syrup, a neo-soul/blues duo with vocalist Brittany Pfantz. His music allowed him to perform in cities such as NYC, Miami, Paris or Bristol to many a few & sharing decks with the likes of Louie Vega, Demuja, Dan Shake, DJ Boring, Djoko or Harrison BDP. The skills of this french producer, in addition to an incredibly charismatic personality make a perfect combination for a promising future.
