- Damien Zala is the man behind ROWTAG recordsDamien Zala is the man behind ROWTAG records. After a sound engineering degree in Paris, he moved back to his native French Riviera. Passioned by mountain biking, skiing and climbing, Damien split his time between studios and mountain trips. As a passionate artist, he combines analog synths, drum-machines and old vinyl samples to creates deep tracks with attitude and atmosphere. His work is quickly singled out : the first album Lonely Happiness received strong support by Theo Parrish and get remixed by Dj Jus Ed, Boo Williams, Rick Wade and Ron Deacon. Moreover, he recently put out "Sweet & Dirty split LP" on Skylax including remix by Anthony Shake Shakir and "Second life ep" on Hold Youth rec. After more than a decay exploring electronic music, Damien collected thousand of vinyls and he is now traveling between deep house and techno styles while Djing.
