- A native of Detroit, Daniel Andres has been involved with the Detroit electronic music scene for over a decade and in 1997 acquired his first DJ gear. Influenced by labels such as Planet e, Plus 8, UR and a plethora of other Detroit talent Daniel began..A native of Detroit, Daniel Andres has been involved with the Detroit electronic music scene for over a decade.Influenced by Richie Hawtin,John Acquaviva,Delano Smith,Norm Talley And a myriad of Detroit talent he aquired his first set of turntables in 1997. He began his journey by playing his first gig at the legendary Motor Lounge. Keeping with his love for vinyl, while living in a digital age, Daniel enjoys the best of both worlds by using wax, Ableton Live, and the Maschine. Through the use of these technologies he is able to utilize 4 decks, loops, and countless effects to experiment and meticulously mix sounds to keep the dance floor moving. Pulling from his techno, house, disco and Motown influences, Daniel has created a sound all his own. Those that have heard his sets say that the can best be described as deep, dark, and sexy, which leaves them hot, sweaty and wanting more. Currently Daniel is working under Stacey Pullen’s Radio Skool, and his event schedule is growing rapidly with tour dates in North America, Europe, and beyond.
