- Daniel Yanov, is a San Francisco based producer & DJ, born and raised in California's San Francisco Bay Area. He has shared the stage with influential recording artists such as Traversable Wormhole, Dustin Zahn, Raiz, PSYK, Skoozbot, Oonaslim, Daegon, Guidewire, Panos & Sentenza, among many others. His sets are a sonic story for your ears with crescendos and decrescendos, deep, sometimes dark percussion, and provocative grooves that arouse the dance floor. Though he first learned to DJ electronic music in Omaha, NE in 2004 where commercial music reigned supreme, it was his love of the deeper, soulful, more raw underground element of house music and techno that fueled his desire to make music. After moving back to California in 2010 to find a larger and more influential electronic scene, Daniel promptly re-immersed himself in a more like-minded city and culture. He released his first music in the summer of 2012 on Fierce Animal Recordings. During the summer of 2012 Daniel became a resident of UNstructured Sounds, a Denver based collective of DJs from SF, Phoenix, Denver, NYC, and Miami. He played the 1st UNstructured Sounds Resident Showcase during the annual Great American Techno Festival.
