- DJ , Event Producer , Machine LIve based on TOKYO. Party... THE GUEST HOUSE / Monadology / ANEURYTHM Release... hrk.yDa Yama(THE GUEST HOUSE) 1997年より地元大阪でハードコアパンクバンドのギタリストとて音楽活動を始める。ジャンクなエフェクターやエキセントリックなレコードの収集から自身のフィーリングに合った音像をギターとDJミキサーよりアウトプットを続け、バンド作品をリリースしつつDJとしても当時の大阪アンダーグラウンドパーティーに数々出演。 上京後はmodule、AIR、eleven、青山蜂、DOMMUNE、VENT、Agehaなどで名門テクノレーベルCLR,Drum Code,Perc Trax,Terminal M,Tresor Records,M-Plant,non series などのレーベルとも親交を図り数多くの海外アーティストとの共演・招聘を経験する。 さらに国内音楽レーベルのイベントプロデューサー・プロモーターとしても現場制作や広報活動を経験。 都内及び上海やバリ、イスタンブールなどアジア諸国のカフェ・バー・ホテルなどの店内BGMのプロデュースやアーティスト作品・コンピレーションアルバムのA&Rにも携わっている。 トラックメイカーとしては「Hrk.Y」名義で2013年5月「Q'HEY / NORTH WIND」をリミックスしリリース、2014年5月にはオリジナルトラック「Zest」をリリースし、東欧や中央アジア、南米などの英語圏外での好セールスを記録する。 2014年11月からBasara-ZA aka ALPH ZEN、Yoshiki Funatsuと共にDJ/パーティーメイクユニット「KINKY GROOVE」を結成。 WIRED CLASHやMother、Richie Hawtin主催パーティーENTER SAKE.など都内ビッグパーティーにも出演。2016年11月にはシドニーのDJユニットでありパーティークリエイト集団であり自身のレーベルも運営する「Mantra Collective」と共に日本国内〜オーストラリアのコラボツアーも開催した。メンバーがベルリンへ渡った2018年には東京とベルリンのローカルシーンを繋ぐパーティーをVENTで開催した。 現在は青山蜂、東間屋、ENTER Shibuya、Ruby Roomなどディープな音楽好きが集まるヴェニューをピックアップし不定期に突発的な開催する主催イベント「THE GUEST HOUSE」の開催を中心に数多くのパーティー主催を行いながら、ハード機材に特化した現場構築型インプロライブセットも行っており、“踊る喜び”を多方面から分解・解釈し常に新しい価値を生み出すべく音楽産業においてマルチな活動を行なっている。 Da Yama(THE GUEST HOUSE) Da Yama started his musical career in 1997 as a guitarist in a hardcore punk band in his hometown, Osaka. He has been producing his own sound image from his collection of junk effectors and eccentric records with his guitar and DJ mixer, and has released several albums as a band member and DJ at many underground parties in Osaka. After moving to Tokyo, he played at module, AIR, eleven, Aoyama Bee, DOMMUNE, VENT, Ageha, etc., and was a member of prestigious techno labels such as CLR, Drum Code, Perc Trax, Terminal M, Tresor Records, M-Plant, non series, and others. He has also worked with and invited many overseas artists to perform with him. He has also worked as an event producer and promoter for music labels in Japan. He has produced background music for cafes, bars, and hotels in Tokyo and other Asian countries such as Shanghai, Bali, and Istanbul, and has also been involved in A&R for artists' works and compilation albums. As a trackmaker, he remixed and released "Q'HEY / NORTH WIND" in May 2013 under the name "Hrk.Y" and released the original track "Zest" in May 2014, which sold well outside of English speaking countries in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and South America. In November 2014, he formed the DJ/party makeup unit KINKY GROOVE with Basara-ZA aka ALPH ZEN and Yoshiki Funatsu. In November 2016, KINKY GROOVE formed the Sydney DJ unit and party creation collective "Mantra Collective", which also runs its own label, in Japan. In 2018, when the members moved to Berlin, they held a party at VENT to connect the local scene in Tokyo and Berlin. Currently, they pick up venues where deep music lovers gather, such as Aoyama Hachi, Azumaya, ENTER Shibuya, and Ruby Room, and hold irregular and spontaneous events called "THE GUEST HOUSE," while hosting many parties.
