- ▰ل͜▰After rapidly gaining a loyal internet following over the past few years under the alias Palace, Deejay Astral is moving forward with a slightly deeper sound, taking influences from the earliest days of electronic house, techno, jungle and garage. The young London based producer arrived on the scene with a string of releases and remixes on DJ Haus’ increasingly eclectic Unknown to the Unknown & Hot Haus Imprints, whilst also recently appearing on W&O Street Tracks with his self-titled ‘Deejay Astral’ offering, gaining support from the likes of Red Bull, Just Jam, BBC 1xtra, Thump, Fabric & Boiler Room to name just a few. Astral has since gone on to release a number of bootleg remixes through the Shall Not Fade white label series alongside Aries, Steven B.C and LK as well as a solo 12″ record on Mall Grab’s new imprint Steel City Dance Discs. Titled ‘Steel City Dance Discs (Volume 002)’ The record surpassed 50,000 plays online within a month of its release in September 2016, and has been played by the likes of Patrick Luca, TAPE_HISS, Baltra and Heist Recordings‘ Nachtbraker.̸SCDD 002 SNFW 002 SNFW 001 W&O 015
