- DELLA, the US / Norwegian DJ who is on the rise like the midnight sun over Scandinavia. Resident DJ @: Jæger - Oslo, NODELLA, the solo project to Kristina Dunn from the duo No Dial Tone. She has labels as Classic Music Company, Paper Recordings, Letftroom, Twirl, Apollo, and ITH Defected already under her belt, press in Mixmag, DjMag, 5 Magazine, and has been featured on both Pete Tong and Heidi’s BBC Radio 1 shows. DELLA holds international presence in the dance music community as an Oslo resident. From her years of past experience in the US House scene, combined with her current involvement in the fresh scene of Europe, she has an ear for quality dance music. The fusion of these two scenes is well heard throughout her DJ sets, which on occasion showcase her sensual vocals live. In the production area DELLA is in full focus as a vocalist and launched her vocal career collaborating with Music for Freaks' own Justin Harris for Apollo Music Group, the imprint out of Chicago to DJ Heather. In late 2016, her banger w/ ‘Lil Mark, ‘It’s Acid' on TWIRL Recordings became an instant hit among DJs and it skyrocketed into the top of the House charts. Here next release is due out in April on Moulton Music with label boss Homero Espinosa w/ featured remixes from Seven Davis Jr. and JT Donaldson. Stay tuned in on this Lady of the House, DELLA is just reaching the surface of her already acclaimed dance music career. As a skilled DJ, both technically and musically, she holds a residency at Oslo’s world-renowned club Jaeger with her club night Della’s Drivhus. She has also graced clubs around the globe such as Zur wilden Renate in Berlin, Culturebox in Copenhagen, Housepitality in San Francisco, Monkey Loft in Seattle, and is a resident DJ in Gothenburg, Sweden. The underground is no stranger to DELLA with parties played internationally from London to New York, LA, San Francisco, Miami, Minneapolis, Chicago, Barcelona, Switzerland, Poland, and Croatia. In the DJ booth she has played side by side with some of the best in the game: Miss Kitten, Magda, Ellen Allien, Luke Solomon, Maya Jane Coles, Doc Martin, and Jesse Rose (to name just a few). The extreme gratitude and appreciation that DELLA has for dance music, especially House, shines throughout her DJ sets and there is only one word that she uses to describe this music: Love.
