- DJ, Producer, Event Promoter. Founding member of the Los Angeles based dance music collective EXTRA MILD SAUCE, SOULNIC and CLASSIFIED EVENTS LA. Current resident at Love Sessions (First Saturdays in LA) at the Virgil.DERRICK WIZE brings a very unique infectious vibration of “feel-good” music with a foundation of deep global rhythms. His soulfully commanding technique makes it very difficult for any dance music fan to sit still when he’s on the tables. As a child of the 70’s from the south east side of Chicago, his DJ style reflects the evolution of house music from disco. As a result, he is known for combining a medley of choice modern electronic grooves with his own edits and great classics to keep the floor moving.
