- Division Code are a British/Irish electronic music duo based in Lagos, Portugal. Their sound is a culmination of melodic techno with a dash of pop. Languid piano loops and a driving kick-beat provide the platform for harmony-heavy vocal scores.Niall Hills is a multi-instrumentalist (piano/guitar/drums) producer, music teacher and DJ. He provides much of the composition of the tracks and has forged his own mellifluous style of arpeggio-led techno. David Lugg (composition and vocals) has a background within musical theatre in London which ultimately emanates into a unique style of delivery. The lyrics are often sombre in tone, yet conversely, the cadence of the beat keeps the overall sound positive and uplifting. Division Code sits nicely within the melodic techno scene, but their music is not afraid to push the boundaries of other genres.̸Outside These Walls (EP)
