- A lover of Soulful House, Afro & Disco infused beats and Vinyl!At the ripe old age of 38, Junior has been a presence on the Deep & Soulful House scene for over 20 years. A warmup set for house maestros Bobby & Steve paved the way for regular appearances at London’s top nightspots including Pacha London, Ministry of Sound, The End, Turnmills & The Cross. A 5-year stint on House FM soon followed as well as working for record label MN2S across the UK & Europe including their debut season in Ibiza in 2006. Junior has graced the decks alongside legends including Louie Vega, Kerri Chandler, Sandy Rivera, Grant Nelson, Richard Earnshaw, Simon Dunmore, Joey Negro, Kenny Dope, Mouse T, DJ Disciple, Todd Terry, Fish Go Deep, Rasmus Faber and Cassius to name a few. Over the years Junior has played some well-respected brands and at some amazing venues including Southport Weekender, Soul Heaven, Garage City, Let There Be House, Kinky Malinki, Saturday Sessions, iCulture, The World Body Painting Festival, Simply Salacious, Royal William Yard Festival, EGG London, Bora Bora, McQueen, El Divino, Boxpark, Café Del Mar, Fasching Jazz Club, Ocean Beach & Bambuddha Ibiza… Juniors’ tune selection and ability to entertain a crowd have seen him DJ all over the globe including Ibiza, London, New York, Zurich, Santorini, Stockholm, Milan, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Austria, Berlin, The Alps and Tenerife. In 2019 Junior teamed up with Gian-Paul of Brooklyn Hustle, one of the mainstays of Brooklyn’s House & Disco scene, doing international shows together in London & New York. Over the past two years they have performed stateside at TBA Brooklyn, Halcyon Records, SoHo Grand, The Water Tower, Rose Gold, The Williamsburg Hotel & Eris Revolution. Currently holding down a bi-weekly residency on Studio 808 with his City Life Social show, the post pandemic festivities look set to continue, with bookings coming in on both sides of the pond and his own City Life brand continuing to put on events around the UK.
