I am a 1990 graduate of The Ohio Center For Broadcasting and a vinyl DJ ever since.
When I was growing up in the 1970s, there were 8 Tracks, ABBA, and Roller Rinks. I even experienced Star Wars #4 in 1977 in the area of Sun Valley, Idaho.
I realized that I wanted to learn beat mixing by listening to DJ Robin Harris mix live on air from a very famous nightclub in Cleveland, Ohio called Coconuts in 1983.
My first vinyl record purchase was Neil Diamond's Greatest Hits Volume #2. I love Forever In Blue Jeans. That lead to Madonna's Material Girl in 1985.
Graduated from the Ohio Center for Broadcasting in 1990, I have spun vinyl and compact discs in some of Cleveland's major nightclubs including Smart Bar (mix show for 107.9 The End), The Basement, 9.0, U4IA, The Grid, The Beach, Have A Nice Day Cafe, Club Deco, Shark Club, and Mr. Gees in Bedford.
