- DJing since 1987 production and remixing since 1994Me MD DirtyDjs.com/co.uk London, United Kingdom Rob Maynard a DJ of damn funky: stomping House beats and Breaks with deep tribal rhythms through to Dirty Electro and Techno. With a life long passion for producing music and Djing, he has been playing for over 20 yrs, first starting in the Rare Groove; Soul+Jazz and moved into the blossoming house scene in the early 90’s via the influence of such luminaries as Roger Sanchez and Paul Trouble Anderson, Judge Jules and Roy the Roach. From his first residency aged 17 yrs old where he learnt first hand, the skills of entertaining dance floors of Essex, through to Rob having his own dance record shop Dance Juice Records. He has had the pleasure of being invited to play at parties across the UK for Sterns / Interdance, Club Kinetic, Raindance and to him managing at Quaff Records Soho and Test Pressing Records and across the Uk’s Capital to thousands of listeners on the Infamous / Legendary Pirate station Girls FM, broad cast across London and surrounding on Friday and Saturday evenings 8-10pm alongside the likes of Kenny Hawks, Luke Solomon, Kenny Charles, Roberto'Mello, Hukleberry Finn..... He regularly DJ’ed alongside and interviewed guest's like Armand van Helden, Victor Simonelli.... In 1999 Then being asked to host shows on CN SOHO LIVE along side the Stanton Warriors own Dom Butler, Peppermint Jam’s Mark Robinson, plus many other world class Dj’s Rob moved on to playing on the Brilliant http://unknownfm.net , Playing Late night sessions Wednesday mornings 12-2am often accompanied by guest until 4 am. He also hosted weekly shows Monday evenings on http://Fnoob.com 7-9 pm where he and his team of talented Dj’s and Producers presented their own brand of dirty-dj beats. Rob has been playing on PassionFM for over 7 year's. Firstly doing the Friday evening late night shows playing eclectic sets for 4 hours plus, more recently His "Home grown Heroes of House" show is broadcast Saturday evenings 8-10pm to dance audiences around the globe via http://passionfmlive.com where he features hot international dj guests and he presents a slamming mixture of underground house and techno beats live in the mix. He plays at some of the most famous clubs and events around the world, such as the Ministry of Sound, SE1, Spirit, SW1, Leisure Lounge, Club Colloseum, Bar Rumba, International events as far as the USA, events in Italy, Switzerland, Guernsey, Ibiza, Crete…. and beyond Robs Fusion of Dirty beats Expertly selected and mixed in the over-ground Dance or the Underground Dance scene. “ I love to meet and entertain, musically inspired people....
