  • Most notorious for his choice of underground DJ residencies around the world, focusing in the UK, but including Canada and Japan. Decades of mixing gained DJ Romain a cult-like following, attracting music lovers and supporters everywhere he performs.
    DJ Romain got his big break openning up for DJ Smash at New York’s famous after hour underground club “Save The Robots” where, shortly after he became a resident DJ. His other New York residencies included NY Palladium, Limelight Tunnel, Club Exit, Centro Fly, Sound Factor Bar. From the late 90’s DJ Romain tours Europe every summer, headlining and mixing with the likes of DJ Francois K, Joe Clausell & Danny Krivit (at Body&Soul from 1997 to 2000). 2000’s In 2000 Romain started a label with DJ and Producer Jon Cutler called “Metro Trax, which lead to release of the worldwide smash hit “Philly’s Groove”. Produced in collaboration with Danny Krivit the track got major air play on UK’s Radio1 by Danny Rampling. The same year Danny invited DJ Romain to play with him at “The Cross” in London. After 2000 Since launch of Metro Trax DJ Romain worked on several new projects including those, with other grandmasters of EDM. Robert Owens, Randy Muller, Emory Toler, Rainy Pane, and Natasha Watts are among some of the multitude of well-known names expecting new music from the quiet giant, of Brooklyn - DJ Romain. Today Year 2017 will see release of the long awaited LP, produced and mastered by DJ Romain and released on Quantize Recordings. With support from DJ Spen and Brian Tappert (CEO of Traxsource) this album is a culmination of his career and a must-have record of this year. Last, but not least DJ Romain is now focused on relaunching his Deep House label Nu Faze and will be teaming up with Quantize Recording to promote the label re-launch at this year’s ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event).
