- Founder of SK Recordings labelENG VERSION DJ SKIZZO What strikes you most about Dj Skizzo is the innate 'one to one' correspondence with music that turns into an inseparable bond which, at first sight, can be compared to one of the best storylines ever written. The reference is clear: the natural attitude that matches his passion, Deejaying, in perfect harmony. The classic citation (often written in common biographies) referring to the musical approach at an early age is the real truth in this case. The young man from a provincial town of the city of Bari is getting prepared to use any device in order to synchronize two tracks, by putting himself into a twenty-year journey made of satisfactions and incentives that are still present today, since the arrival of the first turntables. 'Dj Skizzo' got his stage name during a DMC contest in 1989, when his speed in scratching and mixing such a vast range of sounds was introduced into the world of clubbing without too many obstacles. The combination of musical interpretation and his being so 'visionary' created a fertile path for his ideas in a short time. Within a few years, he performed in historic music venues such as 'Clorophilla', 'Cromie', 'Don Giò', 'Cave', 'Grido Festival' and 'Gondar Park'. DJ Skizzo established himself as a producer in 1995, mixing electro-melodic sounds with minimal-techno rhythms not leavig out contaminations: DJ Skizzo prints and reprints vinyls on vinyls, ranging from Hard- House to Techno, channeling captivating groove, where the rhythmics and being an excellent percussionist catapulted him into the creation of the most innovative music trails of his time. The most peculiar part of his musical concept is the maximum attention he gives the dancefloor. It's like establishing a "question-answer" mental connection with the audience. Where the imperative is to provide an impeccable sound to the people who are always ready to listen. In 2006 he founded the SK Recordings label, a project aimed at mixing his productions with that of new talents from the national and international world. He has worked with countless international artists, playing in important clubs such as the 'Panorama Bar' in Berlin and the 'Fabric' in London, as well as at international festivals such as BPM, Sonus and Unum. Il classico riferimento (spesso presente nelle comuni biografie) concerne l'approccio musicale in tenera età, riscontra più che mai fonte veritiera, il giovane proveniente da una paese di provincia della città di Bari, s'appresta ad utilizzare qualsiasi dispositivo pur di mettere in sincronia due tracce, riversandosi con l'arrivo dei primi giradischi, in un percorso ventennale fatto di soddisfazioni e stimoli tutt'ora onnipresenti. Essì, perchè 'Dj Skizzo' ci diventa in occasione di un contest DMC nel 1989, quando la sua velocità nello scratchare e mixare una cosi vasta gamma di sonorità lo ribalta nel mondo del clubbing senza troppi ostacoli. Il connubio tra l' interpretazione musicale e il suo esser cosi ' visionario ' creano in poco tempo un sentiero fertile per le sue idee, manifestatesi e concretizzatesi nel giro di pochi anni in 'teatri storici musicali' quali Clorophilla, Cromie, Don Giò, e ancora, Cave, Grido Festival, Parco Gondar. Dj Skizzo s'afferma come produttore nel 1995, miscelando suoni electro-melodici alle ritmiche minimal-techno non tralasciando le contaminazioni: Skizzo stampa e ristampa vinili su vinili, spazia dall' Hard-House alla Techno, incanalando Groove avvolgenti, dove le ritmiche e il suo esser un eccellente percussionista, lo catapultano nella creazione delle più innovative scie musicali del suo tempo. Peculiarità del suo concept musicale è la massima attenzione che riserva al dancefloor, quasi l'instaurazione di un dibattito mentale "domanda-risposta", dove l'imperativo è riservare un sound impeccabile ad un pubblico sempre pronto ad ascoltare.
