- Don Major is a London based DJ who rose to prominence in 2012 after his introduction to London’s Deep Tech House scene through Nut House Promotions of whom he is now a Promoter/Business Partner.Don Major's interest in dj'ing began at the tender age of 16, when he purchased a pair of 'belt driven' SoundLab turntable's and a Vestax mixer and began spinning his favoured 'hardcore' and 'drum & bass' tracks on vinyl. He soon got a regular spot on a local radio station and resident bookings in local clubs in and a round South & Central London. After the birth of his first child, Don Major took a break from club dj'ing and focused on his family duties, but never gave up his love for dj'ing or his connection to music as a whole. He continued to collect vinyl and then went on to collecting cd's in many genre's, but his main interests always laid in drum & bass, garage & most fondly, house. In 2012, Don Major decided to rekindle his love of dji'ng and, with his closest family members formed a promotion team by the name of 'Nut House Promotions'. He soon became one of their leading dj's and through this, found himself playing on Housewavelive.com, a radio station that previously hosted, some of the most well known dj’s in the current London house scene. Once again, with his smooth mixing skills and powerful music selection, Don Major soon became a Housewave favourite and has since played on London’s Reprezent Radio, InnacityFM.com, Londonlive.FM and and now has a weekly show on one of London’s best known house radio stations, HouseFM.net. After becoming further established in and amongst the thriving house scene in London with his high energy, rolling beat, deep tech sound and his friendly, humble and approachable manner, Don Major soon built relationships with some of the freshest upcoming promoters in London and is now resident in various London Night Clubs.
