- ELASI is a songwriter, composer, producer, DJ who travels through worlds, real and imaginary. In her music she detonates stroboscopic matryoshkas of styles, metropolises of sparkling synthesisers and exotic sounds discovered in faraway countries.ELASI, aka Elisa Massara, is an Italian songwriter/producer/singer/DJ whose style travels around Earth and explores surreal planets. With a training of classical guitar at the Conservatory of Music of Alessandria (her native town), an apprenticeship of electronic music production in a score composing studio in Los Angeles, ELASI attracts the critics and the listeners attention with her her unique electro-world productions and vocals. In "Campi Elasi”, her debut EP (2020, Sugar Music), she has collaborated remotely with musicians from all over the world (a Balinese gamelan ensemble, an Indian tabla teacher and sufi singer, a Malian griot, an Armenian duduk, a Peruvian percussionist...). The single “Valanghe” has been synchronized both on a Netflix and on a RealTime TV show. In 2022 she releases her EP “Oasi Elasi” (Trident/Capitol Records): a journey across metropolis of synthesizers, drum machines and faraway lands of rhythms, traditional instruments and ritual choirs. The EP, with its eclectic international collaborations (Rocco Rampino, Populous, Meryem Abouloafa, Eva De Marce, Noha), is currently promoted and played on tour on important festivals both in Italy and abroad (France, Korea, Taiwan, Finland) and on national FM radios. E. works as a producer/sound designer/DJ with many brands (Cartier, Zalando, Samsung, Havaianas, Levi’s, Save The Duck...) E. is the co-founder of POCHE Collective, the first Italian network for women and LGBTQ+ music producers (https://www.instagram.com/pochecltv/). E. hosts her own monthly show at Radio Raheem where she selects and mixes her researches of electronic and world music from all around the globe.
