- Eliaz is an artist from Idrija, Slovenia who is deeply immersed in production and is slowly but for sure becoming one of the prominent characters of Slovene underground scene.You can hear his productions screaming out: “I used to be a drummer!” Which is indeed true, as he first started playing drums in music school at the age of 10, and kept doing so for 5 years. Afterwards, he played the drums in various local punk bands. In 2012, at the age of 20, things took a different turn. His best friend introduced him to electronic music production and he was charmed right away. Soon after that, he bought a computer and a MIDI keyboard and started producing his own music. He started DJing too, but production was and still is his main interest. After 7 years of spinning records at different venues around Slovenia and countless of tracks made, he played his first live act at the end of 2018 in one of the best Slovene clubs, Klub K4. The year 2019 brought new milestones in his career as he had his first gig abroad, and his first release, which was pressed on vinyl on widely known UK label Cartulis Music, followed by some VA compilations and EPs on other labels. His energetic charisma reflects in his productions, which are a combination of techno, house, breakbeat and electro.
