- a.k.a. The Tellurian ExperienceOriginally from Uruguay and based in Berlin since 2012, Ema Remedi has been sharpening her crafts as a DJ and producer for over ten years. Inspired by the thriving underground scene that raised her in Montevideo in the early 2000s, she got involved in collaborative projects like House You, Casa Gómez and Quit Your Job, founding later on her own label Astelagüel. Today she continues to contribute to her home music culture working as an A&R for Pulse Recordings, Uruguayan imprint that has been showcasing a fine selection of talents from that corner of the world. Whilst a lot of her time is dedicated to honing in on her own productions, she’s often found playing at infamous venues like Hoppetosse, Sisyphos, GoldenGate and Club der Visionäre in Berlin, as well as bringing her distinct style to clubs and festivals across Europe and South America, from Cocoon in Punta del Este and Badaboum in Paris to D.Edge in São Paulo. Recent years have seen Ema drop her productions on esteemed imprints such as Sketches, Ottavia, Savor Music, and lately join the burgeoning family of the legendary Visionquest label with her 4-track "Outsider" EP. In an attempt to explore different corners of the musical universe, a few years ago she started working on a downtempo experimental project under the alias The Tellurian Experience. In 2019 she released her first album “Alternate Universe”, diving into a world of jazzy and trip-hop influenced rhythms, dreamy soundscapes and hypnotising arpeggiators.
