- Emma Heartbeat from Essen / Germany aka EM?A already released two EPs on vinyl and digital. Sep. 23rd she is about to release the single „Just An Advice“ feat. remixes by Kraddy, Sepalot und Turnsteak worldwide, finally October 07th the Debut-Album „..With „That Will Do You Good“ Emma Heartbeat proofs her producer-, songwriter-, singing- and rapskills. The tracks cover a vast range of electronic rapmusic, use elements of Dubstep and Techno – but avoid to pretend being the one or the other. Earlier this year, Emma introduced the German accent by touring America and the UK as well as during several shows on the European mainland. The upcoming single „Just An Advice“ was introduced on the englisch radio station „BBC“ and DJs all around the globe play her tracks. „High Heels“, the opening track of the album, starts off with an abstract riddim and an 80ies synth, blasting all genre-borders away, but also classical Hip Hop-Tunes such as „Easy“ found their way on this record. The disc-jockeys are provided with several tracks as for example the b-mor inspired „Time Warp“ or the tropical „What's The Time“. Rather mellow and personal tracks, like the single „Just An Advice“- which lyrics will ring a bell with many musicians- are full of energy despite being a ballad. Every now and then EMMA HEARTBEAT pays tribute to her musical idols such as Salt 'n Peppa, The Streets and Dan le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip. The artwork of the CD indicates the amount of ideas that are to be found on this album – that merge into one.
