- I've been gunning strong as a DJ/producer/promoter throughout North America for the past 20 years, dropping DJ & live sets coast to coast, working in several record stores and releasing tracks. People I have been billed along-side include The Orb, John..My interest in playing music for people started back in high-school in 1992. Later, moving to London, Ontario, I worked in a record shop called Dr. Disc, being paid exclusively in vinyl. London in '93 was booming with the right mix of people who shared a passion for the sounds emanating from Detroit, Chicago, New York, Berlin and beyond (Jeremy Caulfield, John Acquaviva, DJ Nobody, Repair...). Records were flowing in directly from Mike Huckaby in Detroit. Gigs with peers & well-known headliners both from the vicinity and abroad took place in a variety of locations from art galleries to clubs to sweaty basements. The mid 90’s saw me make a move to Toronto partaking in large-scale underground events hosted by Transcendance, Alien Visitation, Ritual & Industry Nightclub, Fukhouse and Break & Enter among others. This opened me up to many venues across the whole of the city from gritty slaughterhouses & derelict warehouses, out to forests and beaches, onto tall sailing ships and back to nightclubs and intimate nightspots. Gigging alongside many of my peers, I was also billed with many other luminaries of the many electronic music spheres while holding down various residencies and hosting my own events as Sensor Productions. I have branched into live performance of my own material and while broadening my horizons DJ-ing using digital equipment to accentuate traditional turntables. I have recently re-located to Sydney, Australia where I have recorded mixes for broadcast and continue to develop my sound in the studio both in DJ-ing as well as music production. I have released a string of tracks and remixes on Toronto/Berlin-based Thoughtless Music as well as Archiplel and Revolver Recordings Canada.
