- Eric Lau is a London based music producer, mix engineer as well as DJ.Eric Lau is a London based music producer using his trademark sounds and style to tell an illuminating tale. He describes his music as source music; a sound that connects to the root of musicality and rhythm, entertaining and uplifting people through creating inspiring music that he has become internationally loved and recognised for. He also uses his excellent taste and ear to DJ; playing sets that span multiple genres and styles, creating intoxicating,unforgettable occasions and experiences. Lau has worked with some of the current legends in music including DJ Jazzy Jeff, De La Soul, James Poyser, Dego as well as performing with Robert Glasper, Erykah Badu, ?uestlove to name a few.He is also active as a mixing engineer including the works for DJ Jazzy Jeff, Yussef Kamaal, Masego etc.. Last year saw the birth of The PLAYLIST, a team of producers, writers & engineers compiled by DJ Jazzy Jeff to be a one stop production house. Together they were the first to write, record, produce, mix, master an album in 7 days whilst live steaming the whole process. 'Chasing Goosebumps' featuring Glenn Lewis was the resulting album and has been heralded as a industry changing accomplishment.
