Ewan Pearson has been making music for a living since 1998. In that time he has worked as a recording artist (Maas, World of Apples, Partial Arts), a remixer (Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, Goldfrapp, Seelenluft, Metronomy, Jessie Ware), a record producer and mix engineer (The Rapture, Tracey Thorn, M83, Delphic, Jagwar Ma), a DJ (Panoramabar, Robert Johnson, Space Ibiza), a published academic (‘Discographies’, Routledge: 1999, with Jeremy Gilbert) and a magazine columnist (Groove Magazine, Germany 2007-2012). In 2013 Ewan co-produced and mixed debut albums from Footprintz and Jagwar Ma and completed remixes for Fairmont, Deadstock 33s, Out Cold, Röyksopp, Exercise One and Emperor Machine. This year he has produced ‘Hendra’ the first solo album in over 30 years from Everything But The Girl’s Ben Watt (featuring Bernard Butler of Suede, Leo Taylor of The Invisible and Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour), mixed the debut album from NYC’s TV Baby and is currently working on the debut album from AKASE, a new project from UK producer Midland and singer Robbie Redway. He has also remixed the latest single from Tensnake ft. Nile Rodgers ‘Love Sublime’, Jagwar Ma’s ‘Uncertainty’ and S.R.Krebs’ ‘She Like’. In June Ewan released a new single ‘Taifa’ for Kompakt as Partial Arts (with Al Usher).
