Thereby the words extraversion and limelight hog play a role time and again. Under no circumstances one would think of characterizing a DJ with the word “morbid”. It would be tantamount to a castration and like running Techno in a big club without bass. But if you keep in mind, that the word “morbus” (latin for disease) is put in front of a discoverer of a new ailment in medicine, the name “Morbus Ton” gains a completely new meaning. Figuratively it is the invention of the sick sound and in this way the perfect description of one half of the duo “Frakz & Morbus Ton”. The second half is completed by “Frakz”, who chose his alias referring to “freak”. Together this imaginative mix of words defines the frame for the whole happenings, when these two spin the decks. So, what kind of guys are these two? Under the same noisy name “Unsoundbrothers” they are more familiar to some people, because with this name they do Techno parties for quite some time. In their sets, which are dominated from an ordered disorder, they play a style combination alongside pushing Techno, groovy Tech-House and a reduced to the most essential Minimal. They detest rigid playlists as much as arrangements during their sets. Like maniacs they let themselves carry away by the feeling of the night and share their degenerated desire for more with the greedy crowd. These in Magdeburg and Hannover living childhood friends came together for collaboration pretty late, although they produced and both were DJs before. But they only began to produce for the wider public about two years ago. Since that time they established their own style more and more and as of now it is available in the newest EP „E.I.W.E.I“ (Spielstaub Black 01). With this release the sick brothers will by far not have shared their last interpretation of sick sounds in merging of Minimal, Techno und Techhouse.
