  • Frank Kusserow is a dj and producer from Frankfurt (Germany), who started to dj 1992. Together with Unspecial (Hilmar Reusch) he is the labelhead of the electronic music label Milligramme Records and part of the group November Reign.
    Influenced by the huge record collection of his brother, Frank first got interested in Hip Hop, Funk and Soul such as Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five, Run DMC, Public Enemy and Cameo, later more from the Los Angeles based West Coast Gangster Rap, such as NWA, Ice Cube and Ice-T. After that he got more and more infected by electronic music, such as Depeche Mode, Nitzer Ebb and Front 242, visiting EBM parties at Dorian Gray in Frankfurt airport. By the time OFF, with former member Sven Väth released the first single "Bad News" Frank left the EBM scene and went out clubbing at the dance clubs in the Frankfurt area, such as the Wartburg in Wiesbaden and the Aoxomoxoa also in W Wiesbaden, listening to the new Acid sound, that came over from England to hit the clubs. From now on the Omen in Frankfurtwas the best place for him to celebrate the new music. The next three years Frank visited the club almost every weekend which influenced him and his music a lot. Then in 1992 he and a good friend decided to become dj´s, buying Techno, Acid and Hardcore records at Now! recordstore in Mainz from Andi Düx and Holger Wick. 2 years and thousand mixtapes later Frank felt to be ready to play at real clubs in front of audience. He handed out a demomix to Dj R-Damski, who also worked at the Now! He liked it and asked him to play the warm-up at the Easy in Limburg. From that point on he knew, that he wants to be a dj and played all fridays and saturdays at the club with a lot of of well-known dj´s under his synonym Dj Sprow. Then at the End of 1994 he started as a resident at the "Give em a house" parties in Frankfurt of Stefan Veith, who was supporting the homeless in Frankfurt. Then in 1995 he was a resident-dj at the club Fear in Hamburg. There he had the great luck to play a night together with Derrick May and Joey Beltram. That was one of his most impressive moments so far. In 1998 he was one of the residents of the legendary "Sonntagsrohr" afterhour at the Basement in Wiesbaden. In July he played a night at the OMEN, three months before the club closed forever. Also in 98 he began working for the Neuton Distribution in Offenbach. After a collaboration with Gez Varley and Marco Ingravalle in 2000 he released his first vinyl record, called 10-4 as Frank Ingram feat. G-man on Fieber. The record was a success and played by known dj´s. Also in 2000 he started working for Delirium Recordstore in Mannheim. Within that time he played twice on the mainfloor at the Timewarp Festival 11+12. 2001 he became a resident of Toxic Genpool @ the Space Place in Frankfurt, the parties were outstanding and described as the unification of the the old Omen people. 2001 he played at the official afterhour of the HR-XXL Tunnel Rave in Frankfurt at U60311. From 2007 until 2010 he was working for Anthony Rother and released several tracks on his label Datapunk. In 2010 he started the label Permanent Recordings together with Ziel 100. The first release called "Order 666" featured remixes from the Detroit electro pioneers Aux 88. His music appeared on the labels Fieber Records, Datapunk, Gigolo Records, Whitenoise, Kiddaz FM, Tofa, Delude Records and Sprow Recordings, his own label. He collaborated with and remixed tracks from Dave Clarke, Anthony Rother G-Man (LFO) and Billy Nasty. His tracks were played by Sven Väth, Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier, Dj Hell, Gary Beck, Thomas Schumacher, Monika Kruse, Terence Fixmer, Gregor Tresher, Pascal Feos and Pig&Dan. In his Dj career he played at the clubs Fabric (London), Fuse (Belgium), Cocoon Club (Frankfurt), Tresor (Berlin), Omen (Frankfurt), U60311 (Frankfurt), Tanzhaus West (Frankfurt) and the festivals Time Warp, Nature One, Ruhr in Love, Aquasella and toured through clubs in Brazil, Ukraine, Greece, France, Malta, England, Ireland, Austria, Spain, Portugal and Belgium. Together with Bruno Anselmo he formed the group November Reign in the end ofl 2018. Their first release "Fado EP" (Delude Records) came out in 2019. Now in 2020 their track "Solitaire" is featured on the compilation "Twenty B" of Toxic Family. Frank is a resident-dj of the well known party series "The Tribe" in Frankfurt. Together with Unspecial he launched the new electronic music label Milligramme in the beginning of 2020. His first release "Four Half Hearts EP" will come out on June 17th 2020. In the End of June 2020 his track "Lobotomy" will be releases on the Compilation "Twenty D" on TOFA Records 009. Under his synonym "Asylum Notes" an album will be released in the end of the year 2020, also on TOFA Records. As November Reign a remix of Markus Funke´s track "Levissima" will be released on the Cologne label Form & Terra.
