  • Born Italian, Frank Storm musically grows up in Ibiza, where in a very short time he makes for himself a nice and strong reputation. Constantly evolving into new and old musical paths.
Frank Storm is a chameleonic character in the booth and the studio, but always remains true to his roots. The foundation of everything he does is groove and slick drum programming, but he is able to adapt to every situation he finds him in. As someone who first heard dance music in his uncle’s car, the joy and excitement he felt back then has never left him, either through years spent as a dancer on the other side of the booth, or now as the party commander in chief. Eventually moving to Ibiza to follow his love of music, Frank soon became a regular at places like No Name Club and began to make a mark on those who know. Keen to curate the whole night with his own vision, he started his now critically acclaimed Unusual Suspects party with a residency at Sankeys Ibiza in 2015 and hasn’t looked back since. The night quickly became known for its devotion to the underground rather than big names or obvious ticket sellers. It built up a community of serious music lovers who appreciated the quality soundtracks provided by top guests like Cassy, Chris Liebing, DJ Sneak, Enzo Siragusa and Sonja Moonear amongst many more. Accordingly, Unusual Suspects became in demand around Europe and has since held showcases at EGG London, IPSE Berlin and OPIVM Bali just to name a few. Of course, this has also meant Frank himself has built up fans all over the world and now plays everywhere from ADE to Space Ibiza, Output New York to Pacha Barcelona via his ongoing residency at Amnesia Milano. Frank likes to look into the eyes of his dancers, to make that personal connection, transmit his passion and enthusiasm and head off on a journey with his dancers - a journey into atmospheric house, sleek and slick tech and plenty in between, always with a sense of fun, and preferably for extended periods of time so he can really tell a story. Fast grooves and warm, saturated sounds with chopped up samples of the past and a soul-infused vocal always litter his sets and inform his style in the studio. Frank’s breakout release came with 'Gimme the Honey' on Hot Creations, and he followed it up with a dynamic selection of club-friendly but characterful EPs on Get Physical, Serialism and Decay Records, with massive remixes of Dana Ruh, Guido Schneider and Yusef showing another side to his skills. The next chapter finds Frank start his own label, Crunch, where he insists he, his friends and favourite producers will be "free to create whatever they want without any restrictions". It will be another fascinating development in the career of one of dance music’s youngest, hungriest and most unique artists.
