Later the way of education changed directly to music- and communication science. This helped among other things to understand melody and sounddesigns practically, to compose and to open the “theoretical” gate to interprete the art in generell in a different way, like his own tracks too. first steps 2004 // the musically collaboration with retronic sounds started. That was really forwarding the developement to use the potencials of everybody - in terms of a live music act. April 2005 // “fashion playground” was a concept initiated by Maria Fuchs and funkenstrøm. It was an indiscribable sound made from sewing-machines. The process of sewing was alienated and processed via notebook to make it danceable. February 2006 // first night of “Gentheater” at the campus of TU Berlin: a dramatic composition. Production und Sound Design by funkenstrøm Visualisations by Nils Linscheidt & Björn Schäfer August 2009 // For the opening of the concert house at Gendarmenmarkt Berlin, funkenstrøm & Paul Chriske prepared a live performance with remixes of classical music combined with cornerstones of electronic Pop music, like Kraftwerk, to accentuate the close alliance between all the musical styles. Since July 2006 funkenstrøm is active in the clubbing scene of Berlin, and solved more than 50 gigs in the last 3 years. Due to playing as liveact only, he produced and developed his sound in very different styles.
