- Amsterdam based producer of acid, electro and electronics.Roaming around in the Dutch underground since 2001, Garçon Taupe has occasionally played live gigs and contributed tracks to compilation albums on Narrominded, Esc.Rec. and Top Notch. His debut 'Wittenburg EP' appeared in 2009 as part of Narrominded Split LP #4, with compatriot Legowelt taking care of the flipside. Opening track Lobo grabbed some attention and was voted 'Dance track of the year' by the visitors of the now defunct music website Eclectro. In 2017, an acidic twelve inch called ‘The White Spider’ appeared on Enfant Terrible sublabel Gooiland Elektro. It sold out at the head quarters within three months, to be followed up with 'Kiklop EP' through his home base Narrominded in 2018. Until 2007, Garçon Taupe was bassplayer in the (still active) noiserock outfit Gone Bald, a band that by then had released seven albums on a.o.
