- Glenn Davis DJ/Producer /Music Lover He has released records on Yore Records, F*CLR , Deeper Groove, LDF, Midnight Riot , Local Talk, Ele Records.Glenn has over 25 years DJing experience that has seen him play many clubs and festivals over the years including Southport Weekender and Liverpool Disco Festival . A passionate vinyl collector since the mid nineties he passion for finding and playing good music never stops. Glenn's earliest music influences come from his older brothers record collections. The Jam, James Brown , Prince , The Who, Sade , The Style Council , Luther Vandross , De la Soul , Bronski Beat , Erasure, Level 42 and much of the 80's new wave and pop all featured heavily in the Davis household. Magazines like The Face ID, and later Straight No Chaser were also sources inspiration for Glenn In 2003 he got together with his friends and inspired by trips to the legendary Southport Soul Weekender they formed Groovement Soul with the intention of running club nights with a more deep soulful jazz house sound bringing some of their favorite dj's to play in Dublin bringing Dj’s Phil Asher RIP, Lay Far , Recloose , Bob Jones, Benji B, Kev Beadle , Lay Far and Thatmanmonkz In 2012 Glenn began his journey into music production which has seen him work with U.K. House music legend Ashley Beedle (Africanz On Marz) on four releases. Glenn’s Body & Soul Ep , Namida Ep and Special Ep all on (F*CLR Records ) gained support from Dj’s of the caliber of Laurant Garnier, DJ Moxie, Joey Negro, Dj Cosmo , Dj Nature and many more with Francois K playing Namida (Africanz on Marz remix) on his World Wide FM show. Glenn’s latest releases “A Place For You EP” (Deeper Groove 003) which includes a killer Franck Roger remix and “Better Daze Ep ”on respected Cologne label Yore Records have been receiving great feedback and support from DJ’s Jimpster , Lars Behenroth , Fish Go Deep, T Hill Detroit Radio, Luke Solomon , Vince Watson, Mr V , Mark Grusane , Jon Cutler, Giles Smith , Colin Dale, 5 Mag Chicago and many more. Glenn' first vinyl release on Ele Records (2017) was on a various artist ep , his track "Holding On" was played by non other than Moodymann.
