- nyc || miaA titan of underground dance music, Miami native Adrianna Moschides has spent a decade and a half playing an instrumental role in fostering and developing the North American club music scene as an internationally touring club DJ, label manager, event producer, music producer, radio host, and club manager. Dawning the alias Gooddroid, Moschides became a staple of the Miami DJ circuit in the late 2000s, inheriting and upholding the deep culture of the area while producing events and establishing space for new imports along with the southeast’s bubbling’ club sounds of the time. In 2010 she founded the multi-genre label Loveless Records, working closely with the new generation of underground North American producers in Bass, Club, Footwork, and Trap including Nadus, DJ Paypal, Ryan Hemsworth, and more. Now an institution, Loveless has received repeated praise from the likes of XLR8R, FACT, DJ Mag, Mixmag, and hosts a monthly radio show on the esteemed Lot Radio in Brooklyn. In 2013 Moschides started the critically acclaimed Ballroom event series Catwalk with Bonnie Beats, which features fierce Vogue competitions and has gone on to feature the likes of MikeQ, Vjuan Allure, Cupcakke, Zebra Katz, Mykki Blanco and eventually attracting Red Bull Music Academy as a collaborator and underwriter. Catwalk was voted Best Monthly Party in Miami by the Miami New Times in 2017 and has been awarded the OTY event in Miami since its inception. Following a formal move to Brooklyn in 2016, Moschides efforts took a renewed urgency and she quickly becoming a local club favorite. Doubling down on the diversity of her output, she soon shifted the focus of Loveless Records towards House & Techno inspired sounds and launched the sub label Materia Records in early 2017. Focusing on the various contemporary incarnations of Club & Latin Dance music, Materia has only reinforced Moschides invaluable role behind the scenes in cutting-edge dance culture. Simultaneously her time spent as Production Manager, first at Queen’s Knockdown Center and now at The Brooklyn Mirage, has embedded Moschides deeply into all tiers industry, providing with it a unique counter perspective enriched by her years spent as a powerhouse of the underground. Her experimentation has expanded far beyond traditional events, including the lauded, long-standing series where she invites local producers to re-score the soundtracks of classic movies like Fantastic Planet, Cape Fear, Blade, & Mother in a live theater setting. In between her demanding DJ schedule and label duties, and regular flights to Miami for Catwalk, Moschides embarked on her first European and Asian tours in 2018, playing in Tokyo, Berlin, Austria, London, and beyond. With her debut EP due out in late 2020, Gooddroid remains a backbone of the industry and a champion of the underground.
