- Modular meets live drums and studio wizardry.Halosaur (AKA Steph Lefrancois) is a music producer, recording engineer, live performer and teacher. His music is composed on an extensive modular setup, giving it a distinctive raw, exploratory vibe. Steph, who's also a drummer, focuses on groovy, intricate percussion, layered with evocative textures. Over the past 20 years, Steph has dedicated his time to spreading knowledge, refining his craft, defining his sound and releasing on world-renowned labels such as R&S, KMS, Toolroom, and !K7, to name a few. Enriched by those diverse experiences and connections, he's now poised to channel a lifetime of inspiration, performing live on modular and Octatrack. With the underlying theme of harnessing chaos, this "fresh veteran" is excited to show the world what's been simmering for a very long time. Steph has shared his relaxed teaching style at Schneidersladen for 2 workshops, and, combined with his real life experience as a modular performer (as one half of Kitmun), delivers engaging and practical instruction.
