- Henry Vengeance has been in the techno scene since 1993 and djing and producing for just about the same time. He started out in NYC working at Instinct Records (Moby, Prototype 909), and then at Intergroove US (Plastic City, Noom, Time Unlimited, Audio)Henry Vengeance has released music on labels such as Format Recordings, Contrast UK, Mastoid Kollective, Downside Up, Thrust, X-Sight, and through a variety of compilations released by K-Tel's Coldfront series, In the Mix and worked for Broklyn Music Limited (Digital Empire, In the Mix Series, Hyperspace, Digital Hut, Thrust, Beatsmart, Wide Awake). In the mid 90's, Henry was one of the core members of Uptown Underground in NYC, helping to produce some of the largest raves the East Coast has ever seen at venues like the Roseland Ballroom NYC, Asbury Park Arena NJ, The Skate Key, Bronx NY, and Ferry Point Park (aka Rave Rock), Bronx, NY. Uptown Underground was most famous for it’s Monkey parties in the 90’s, bringing in European artists to the US like Cari Lekebusch, Adam Beyer, DJ Misjah and Tim, Chris Liberator, Commander Tom, Nostrum, Billy Nasty, and a whole bunch more. Uptown Underground’s stable of DJ’s included DJ Future Funk, DJ Kliprock, The Dever, Rob Devs, Henry Vengeance, DJ Dread, DJ Poe, and DJ Kang Henry was also one of Milwaukee based Massive Magazine's Operatives in NY. He provided content from Artist and DJ interviews, to record reviews of new vinyl and cd releases hitting the streets. One of the most notable interviews he did was with Paul Johnson. As of the last 8 years, Henry has primarily focused on performing Live PA's. His hard and dark styles of live techno create an immersive experience on the dance floor. Henry’s precision of rhythms, sounds, and various effects deliver a pulsating and mental combination of chest pounding sound.
