- Wonky and adventurous, but deep.An adventurous DJ and producer, the nomadic, genre-fluid, and ever evolving Hunter Starkings makes and mixes music that combines elements from across the club music spectrum, fusing elements from scenes in the US, UK and beyond. Having spent time throwing events across the country, notably in Southern California and Richmond, VA, she has been a devotee of the underground in it's many forms for most of a decade. At the core of her sound is a love of all things bass and breakbeat, but her sound has evolved into a more playful, dark, and club-centric, combining subtle elements from acid, club music, and leftfield bass into something that is rather hard to define. Hunter currently lives in New York.
