- Based in Miami, Florida, Imbue consists of guitarist Eduardo Alvarez, pianist Ignacio Vallejo, and audio engineer Maximiliano Cortes.These three childhood friends have created an interpretation of electronic music with original instrumentation superimposed over drum machine grooves, and their live performance features a hybrid of live electric guitar and synthesizer improvisation over a continuous vinyl and digital DJ set. The trio launched their self-titled label in 2017 with their vinyl-only debut, “Imbue” [IMB001]. Since then seven official EPs have been released under that imprint, and three of their vinyl EP’s reached #1 on the Decks.de and Deejay.de charts. The success of these records helped them land features on the labels Telum [TELUM006], Retrospect [RETRO003], SISU [SISU01 & SISU02], Personality Disorder [PDM015 & PDM016], and Lisa’s Kickback [LKB003], amongst others.
