    Inkswel, an award-nominated Australian music producer and DJ, is a self-proclaimed music obsessive who has been at the forefront of championing cutting-edge sounds for over two decades. His latest album, "Chasing Infinity," was met with critical acclaim and featured in the weekly top albums on both PBSFM and Triple R in Melbourne. This groundbreaking album garnered praise and airplay across the globe on esteemed stations such as Worldwide FM, KCRW, BBC Radio 6, Soho Radio, and Double J. A master of his craft, Inkswel takes his production value to the next level with his band, The Snaglepuss, and has collaborated with renowned modern music luminaries such as the late, great Lee Scratch Perry, Talib Kweli (Mos Def/ Dave Chapelle), and Amp Fiddler. The album gained press support from Pilerats, where he was featured on the front page. Additionally, he was interviewed by Stoney Creation on the Bandcamp Weekly Hip Hop Show to discuss his impressive career and the creative process behind "Chasing Infinity." With an unrivaled and prolific work output, Inkswel has been involved in over 200 projects since his humble beginnings in the late '90s hip hop scene. Hard to pigeonhole, he is a trailblazer who traverses the boundaries of genre, constantly pushing forward-thinking sounds. His recent "Holders of The Sun" project sees him collaborating with UK soul vocalist Colonel Red via German label Compost Records, creating a modern soul classic backed with a remix from Detroit house legend Moodymann. His forthcoming project ‘Hypersonic’ with emcee Blurum13 finds a home on his independent label Inner Tribe Records, a family business he runs with his wife and musical partner Erin Buku. Recently, Inkswel's collaboration with Darwin-born emcee Mista Monk on the collaborative album "Muti" was nominated for the 2021 Australian Music Prize, adding yet another achievement to his already impressive resume. Beyond his productions, Inkswel is an established and seasoned club DJ who has headlined parties in some of the most iconic cities worldwide, such as Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles, Moscow, Sao Paolo, and beyond. He has also performed alongside luminaries such as DJ Spinna, Dez Andres, Dam Funk, Mayer Hawthorne, Osunlade, Rick Whilhite, Dego 2000black, Peanut Butter Wolf, and House Shoes. His genre-bending performances redefine the modern expectations of DJing, landing him slots at Hip Hop Kemp Festival in the Czech Republic, as well as curating full lineups for the Adelaide Fringe festival. Continuing his drive to champion forward-thinking music, Inkswel is also at the helm of creativity for his own label, Inner Tribe Records. Since its 2019 conception, the label has released over 30 projects from many notable underground artists. Beyond this, he has also curated projects behind the scenes for BBE, Tokyo Dawn Records, Co-Operation Records, and Yoruba Soul from artists such as Steve Spacek, Turbulance, Spikey Tee, and Soul Inscribed, as well as putting together compilation albums. Inkswel hosts a monthly radio show on the UK-based station 1BTN and has previously featured as a guest on Redlight Radio, The Lot Radio, NTS, Rinse FM, Worldwide FM, Triple J, Triple R, PBS, and countless other stations worldwide. Most recently, his collaboration with Talib Kweli, "Let It Grow," was featured by UK comedian Romesh Ranganathan on the BBC Radio show "For The Love Of Hip Hop."
