- Italian musician, Dj & Producer founder of "substratum Records" techno label based in Berlin. ▭ ▄== Biography == Jack Teck (1981), was born in Ribera (South Italy). Deeply involved in music by his family, he starts piano lessons at the age of 10. He was drawn to electronic music at an early age dedicating himself to the study and play of the electronic keyboard even participating in an important Music Festival "Tim Tour, Palermo 2003 His activity is diversified between a spectrum of different projects, all of them though, connected through one red-line Electronic Music He started his Dj career in 2004, working for the contemporary House/Techno scene. In that period Jack Teck becomes particularly attracted by the charm of the Vinyls, abandoning his instrument and starting dedicating to the mixing. Jack starts soon his professional activity as light jay with Hard Style techno and DJ resident at "Il Pachä club" (Alcamo Marina, Sicily), then as a Deejay becoming dj and guest in different more important Clubs and After Hours of Italy, Switzerland, London and Germany, some Important clubs like Amnesia (Italy) Paparazzi (Palermo, ITA) Bier Garten (Palermo, ITA) Exes club (Palermo, TA) Coca Cola Event (Catania, ITA) Rizla Event (Catania, ITA) Garage Club Vinyle Club (Brescia, ITA) Disco Volante (Brescia, ITA) Vanilla Club (Lugano,Switzerland) Bagatelle (Zürich,Switzerland) Trafik Club (London, UK) Arch69 (London, UK) Ludwig klub (Frankfurt, DE) Koi klub (Mannheim, DE) In 2006 meets with "Victor Simonelli", one of the fundamental pivots of House music in New York. 2010 Jack Teck playing in Germany for the first time supported by La Troya (Ibiza) and Cocoon. In 2012 he introduces himself to the worldwide scene across his album "Show Me Your Fire EP" produced with "Pieradis Rossini" famous record Producer of (49ers, Bacon Popper,etc.) a still pretty much demanded piece made in collaboration with Jamed Records label in London. He have shared the dj booth with many international artists. 2015 A move to Berlin starting to work with the record label OLA Records, his first debutt at "Suicide Circus klub", afterwards R19 klub (Berlin), AVA cluband many more Deered Radio where he honed his craft as a DJ and narrowed his focus toward the dark, spacious and underground techno. A chance encounter with Berlin in particular with Dave Sumner aka Function "Sandwell District" he honed his taste for the underground and narrowed his focus toward the dark, spacious and experimental techno he’s now known for. In 2017 Jack Teck kickstarted the label "substratum Records" Since then the substratum Records family built a strong and constantly growing fan-base worldwide, setting the standard for today’s quality experimental Techno.
