In the beginning years of their budding DJ career, Jacqui launched the notorious Sydney brand “GiRLTHING”, which is currently one of the biggest LGBTQIA+ collectives in Australia. GiRLTHING played recent notable shows in 2022 like Splendour in The Grass, Lost Paradise & Day of Dance, plus selling out the iconic Metro Theatre earlier this year during Mardi Gras. Jacqui Cunningham has performed at “Laneway Festival”, “Gaytimes”, “Yo! Sissy Festival” in Berlin and “Circuit Festival” in Barcelona, not to mention closing out one of Sydney’s most talked about events during World Pride 2023 ~ The Bondi Beach Party, playing to a roaring 15,000+ people. Jacqui appeared at Ponyboy (NYC) in 2022 as well as “The Treehouse” in Nicaragua amongst many other intl shows throughout the years, including “Two Queens” in Singapore, “Cocoon Bar” in Bali & “Flirt” in Cyprus just to name a few. Jacqui has featured on TEDx, triple j’s Friday Arvo Mix / The Kick On, FBi Radio, JOY FM (Melb), Radio Electronica (DE), as well as being asked to appear on SOHO radio in London and as a guest speaker on the EMC panel with Honey Dijon. Adding to Jacqui's breadth of musical prowess , they released their debut EP on Karussell Records, “Paloma" in 2022, & remixed “Unknown Associates” latest record in April 2023, which is now available for download and streaming on all platforms.
