- Jaimz is without a doubt one of the most prominent members of Sydney's underground dance music world. He has been successfully managing to convince crowds he is a decent enough DJ (on the whole) since 2000 - which is like, last millenium.Jaimz is without a doubt one of the most prominent members of Sydney's underground dance music world. He has been successfully managing to convince crowds he is a decent enough DJ (on the whole) since 2000 - which is like, last millenium. As a result he has talked his way into some of the most premium outdoor events in Australia, playing regularly at Earthdance Sydney and the Rainbow Serpent Festival, in addition to some of the most memorable festivals and parties across Australia over the past decade, and a few moderately forgettable ones too. His crew, the Discordian Monkey Tribe, created waves and memories with an series of events around Sydney, setting new benchmarks in open air parties and cleaning up nicely after themselves. In 2003 he was involved in the formation of the Sonic Dragon record label group, A&Ring their flagship label Sonic Dragon, which has seen releases from the likes of Mr Peculiar, Benza, Arkanoydz, Gus Till, and many more. In addition to this he represents the international psychedelic trance record label Neurobiotic Records. As well as consistantly performing premium quality psychedelic trance sets, Jaimz has begun a new DJ project under the name Tom Jaimz. Under the name Tom Jaimz he plays a more house-based sound, taking cuts from the world of minimal techno, tech-house and progressive and mixing and layering them using the Ableton Live music software, creating a more soundscaped based performance.
