    Jeff Daniels has been collecting and playing records for over 25 years, he was compelled to DJ, as his love for music he uncovers means that he has to share it with an audience. Jeff leaves no stone unturned in his search for new music, hidden gems or lost treasures spanning the soulful spectrum. Jeff started his DJ-ing career in 1986 - Southport, England, playing soul, funk, boogie, hip-hop, electro-funk, disco and house. Throughout the late 80's and early 90's, he established himself as one of Southport’s finest DJ’s with weekly residencies and being booked to play all over the North West. From house parties, all dayers and illegal all-nighters to Blackburn warehouse raves and the acid house explosion, Jeff has always been there, pushing things forward. UK radio shows like the infamous TCOB (Takin’ Care of Business), Mike Shaft’s influential Soul, Dance, and Funk show, on Piccadilly Radio throughout the 80’s, also Greg Wilson, Chad Jackson. Steve Barker & Pete Haigh on radio Lancashire Sunday afternoons, Weekly visit’s to ‘Cheverton Records (Liverpool), Spin Inn, vinyl exchange & Eastern Bloc (Manchester). At the same time Jeff was a regular on the Northern clubbing scene at The Southport Weekender twice yearly, ‘Nude Nights’ @ the ‘Hacienda’ with Graeme Park & Mike Pickering, and also at the ‘Halfway House’ in Preston, Chorley with Richard Serling. Other clubs frequently attended, Sasha at Shelly’s (Stoke) Smile & Cream (Liverpool) Back To Basics (Leeds) and the infamous ‘Hardcore Uproar’ warehouse parties in Blackburn 1989-91 1996 - Jeff moved to London to focus on music production and set up an Independent record label called Flava' Records. After gaining vital studio experience and contacts networking within the industry, this lead to new projects with other DJ’s, labels & artists and gaining employment working in ‘Music Distribution’, dealing with all the UK Independent record shops, UK and Worldwide exporters, HMV & Virgin, pushing soulful dance music & eclectic tastes and bringing home all the latest releases. Jeff worked for: Essential BMG – (UK Dance sales & Label Manager) and went on to work for Alliance Multi-Media, Director (UK & Export) and Sole Unlimited Distribution (UK/USA, Part of Dust Traxx Chicago) 1998 - success also took Jeff to the airwaves with a weekly fixture on Gaialive (internet radio) playing underground house music covering the soulful spectrum to the masses worldwide. That same year, Jeff was approached by the 'Vibe Bar', brick lane, and was offered a weekly residency. Jeff held down a residency and has promoted various eclectic nights at the vibe bar for over 10 years, featuring numerous guest DJ's & Artist's such as: The London Posse, DJ A-Side, Jurassic 5, Simbad (Brownswood), Tony Vegas (Scratch Perverts) Huw & Cam (Mr. Bongo) Ed Pitt (Scenario Records) My Little Hommie (Blade) Free Young Radical (Jazzchess) D.I.Y, & Pete Gooding (Cafe Mambo Ibiza) Marathon Men, Leigh Morgan (Urban Torque) and Greg Boraman (Freestyle Records) to name a few. Jeff has had the pleasure of playing at a wide range of venues in the UK from Cream, 051, Smile, Bar Bar & The State (Liverpool) to The Bluenote, Ministry Of Sound, East Village, Horse & Groom, Troubadour, Dingwalls, The End, 333, 93 Feet East, Herbal, Turnmills, The Cross Nightclub, Neighbourhood, Big Chill Bar, The Dex Club (London) The Jazz Rooms, Audio, Digital, Coalition, The Fishbowl, Riki Tik & Life (Brighton) The Escape Club (Swansea) and the 'Legendary Southport Weekender' (VIP room and official after party) International sets, have taken Jeff to New York, Germany, Ibiza, Spain, Tenerife, Switzerland, France, and Ireland. DJ sets at exclusive VIP functions, corporate celebrity bashes and music industry after parties & fashion shows. Now based in Brighton, you can catch Jeff playing at various clubs, basements and cool bars across the City, the UK and Europe.
