- Jeff Mason (Formerly J-Groove) has a history in the music business that spans 20 years. He began as a DJ at age 12, and his passion for house music has never waivered. Now, co-owner of Dirty Deluxe Records with Isaac S, his blend of funky and tech has..Formerly known as J-Groove, Jeff Mason's name change signals not only a maturing character, but also sound. From his home base in Toronto, Canada, Jeff's over 20 year DJ’ing career has taken him all over the world. From Tel-Aviv, To Shanghai, To Manilla, To Belgrade, and back again. Jeff's heavy live experience allowed him to make the transition into the studio with ease. From the beginning Jeff's tracks were gaining big attention. In fact his first productions were licensed to Donald Glaude's "Live From Buzz", and Bad Boy Bill's "Bangin' the Box 5". With releases on Subliminal Soul, Sondos, Deep Vision, Loaded, and remixes for Jive, Jeff has a solid foot in the history of house music. In addition to many solo projects, Jeff has also collaborated with many of the top names in the biz. Artists such as Sandy Rivera and Erick Morillo have helped shape how he approaches production to this very day. Along the way, he has also been a major part of some pretty impressive partnerships, one of which is the "Red Eyed Sneakers". Teaming up with Adam Nathan (formerly of Release Records), the two released a number of productions in a short period of time. "Freak It" made major noise, gaining some big radio/dj support. In 2006, Jeff hooked up with DJ/Producer veteran Isaac S (www.djisaacs.com). With releases on Full Body Sound System:Black Series and Groove Digital, the two felt it was time to start their own label. In 2007, Dirty Deluxe Records was born, as was the production team BeatFlippers (Jeff Mason and Isaac S). From there, things have gotten crazy. With 3 years as a label owner behind him, Jeff's resposibilities now include not only a busy Artist scedule, but also Graphic artist for the label, Web Designer, and Mastering engineer.
