- Now residing in Oslo but previously based in the UK; John’s passion for dance music spans over two decades.John has been DJ'ing since the acid house explosion in the late 1980′s and regularly warmed up at 'balearic pioneer' Steve Proctor’s great London club night ‘Better Days’ in the early 90′s. Notable other residencies during the 90′s were ‘Jump’, ‘Independance’ & ‘Shakavara’ with regular guest spots at clubs such as ‘Club UK’, ‘Leisure Lounge’ and ‘Feel the Rhythm’ Alongside co founder Matt Wells, the Aural Graffiti name originally surfaced in the early 2000′s with club nights in London & Leeds (Think Tank ). Reunions of classic London club nights following the social network boom in the latter part of the decade meant returning to the decks again, warming up at seminal ‘The Promised Land’ & a return to James Parker’s ‘Shakavara’ party alongside legendary club night ‘Flying’.
