- Jonny Hopkinson is a Leeds based House DJ & Producer, who is also resident & co-founder of one of Leeds’ hottest underground brands “BeatStreet”.Jonny Hopkinson is a Leeds based House DJ & Producer, who is also resident & co-founder of one of Leeds’ hottest underground brands “BeatStreet”. After growing up playing in Local bands, Jonny discovered Electronic Music and has been playing various styles of House Music around the UK for the past 5 years. Around 18 months ago, he began producing and early collaborations got snapped up by labels such as Electronique home to the likes of Finnebassen and Hot Since ’82. Since then, Jonny’s solo productions have caught the attention of many of the Industries finest underground labels. Including forthcoming and previous releases through Sishi Rosche’s Sultry Vibes, Mexico’s Disclosure Crew, Flumo Recordings and most recently Akbal Music, along with a whole host of others. With each release, Jonny’s wide knowledge of music and ability to switch styles & moods with easy and vitality, is displayed and recognised. Playing all things House, Jonny’s sets can run everywhere from deep, downtempo house right through to peak-time, euphoric grooves and melodies covering all the House-orientated spectrum.
