- Jovial / Die Rothoren Founder and promoter of the "peccadillow" artist network.Jovial (Peccadillow, Glenview Rec. - Munich/Germany) Born in a rather provincial area around Munich Jovial aka Josh Roth was fascinated since the early 90's by the upcoming techno movement, which eventually led to his own active initiation. 1994 was the starting point for the then 16 year old. Josh was involved in the organization of underground techno and house partys, constantly trying to spread and push new electronic music. Together with his brother aka „Die Rothoren“ he run the peccadillow artist network and ride high with the crowd behind the decks. His musical influences ranges from Soundtracks, Funk, Soul and Jazz, Hip Hop and Dub to his beloved Detroit Techno and US House. Jovial is likely to be found behind some turntables between Berlin and Munich, representing his own definition of House and Techno, bridging the gap between deepness and elation. Never taking things too seriously, apart from those serious grooves he’s got in his pockets.
