- Julian Brody is a DJ, Producer, Composer and Guitarist based in Mexico City, Mexico.Julian's passionate relationship with so many genres of music has had more twists and turns than an acid nightmare rollercoaster. From Indie and Glam guitar hero to shoegazing dj, from film-score composer to techno raver to cumbia fan, he is in every sense inmersed in music. He has been a long-standing resident (gts) for Wako Texas, a seminal Mexican electro-experimental ensemble that includes tabla, banjo,dj and a micromoog, to name just a few. Julian is a dedicated producer of experimental electronica, having released numerous tracks on indie labels such as Modus Vivendi Music, Pantamuzik, or Kinetika Records, as well as a handful of major releases, including "Greensleeves" for Universal Europe in 2007. He has also contributed both guitars and moog programming to a number of albums, from B.N. Loco's Hecho en Mexico to Sanchez Dub's Apocalyptic Girl-Boy and even for fortchcoming Mexican pop icon Stephanie Salas This has also led him to dj out on his own, and has held residencies in Mexico City's Bar Colmillo, Barracuda, and has played in most of Mexico's better-known electronica venues, such as Pasaje America, Rioma, El Imperial, and Pata Negra, amongst others.
