  • Julio is currently one of the biggest names on the Brazilian electronic scene, having cut his teeth playing for a summer season at Amnesia, Ibiza, and previously releasing tracks on Panther Records (Hook & Bellboy Records).

His pioneering spirit is marked by the first album tracks mixed with 100 % national producers, the URBR 01, released by the label Underground Records Brasil, confirming his commitment and involvement with the national scene at the time was evolving by leaps and bounds. Soon another mix of his own in partnership with DJ Rascal, "DJ Face Oct-2005", could already be found in the booklet of the British magazine DJ MAG, with worldwide distribution. It was when Brazilian electronic music was coming out of small urban niches to win the big and targeted audience, which in mid of 2004, Julio Torres had his premiere at the festival Skol Beats, being invited to perform in one of main stages, alongside names like Basement Jaxx , Danny Howells and Hernan Cattaneo, and thereby ensured his participation in two editions of the event, in addition to his fixed residence, which continues today, at the club D-Edge, until then newly opened in São Paulo, club would soon become a global benchmark in the segment . In the same year he was already considered by the UK publication Mixmag the main house producer of the country. In following year, Julio Torres once again innovates to create a partnership with musician Amon Lima, the Crossover, an unique project that mixes the synthetic beats of electronic music with the organic sound of the violin, and thus adds in his biography, a history aside, with performances at major festivals such as Skol Beats, Mob Festival, Ship House, Helvetia, Rock in Rio, Ultra, Rio Music Conference, until be open act at the mega show of the Black Eyed Peas at Morumbi Stadium in 2008.
