- Katopodis is a Greco-Peruvian DJ and producer based in Lima, Peru. His unique style is rooted in Minimal/ Deep Tech and Tech House, his unparalleled selection got him invited to play at world-class events such as Resistance Lima 2019 and elrow Lima 2020.Nikolas Katopodis (b. 1995) is a Greco-Peruvian DJ, musician and producer based in Lima and operating throughout Peru. His unique style is rooted in Minimal Deep Tech and Tech House, characterized by unstoppable groovy basslines, catchy beats, neverending hypnotic rhytms and futuristic sounds. Upon returning from Europe in 2012, he was strongly influenced by the pursuit of reconnecting with the essence of life through highly energetic vibrations and uplifting rhythms. His diverse background, profound cultural heritage and holistic vision manifest into an all-encompassing lifestyle of positivity through the creation of communities and sound. Katopodis is a solid presence in the independent Peruvian underground scene, having played over 100 sets across the country in 2019 alone. His unparalleled selection got him invited to play at world-class events such as Resistance Lima 2019 and elrow Lima 2020. He is a regular in the Lima local circuit, frequently performing at La Tribu, La Mecca, Fiesta Is, Laboratory and Vastion. He has shared booths with renowned international DJ’s such as Adam Beyer, Paco Osuna, Charlotte de Witte, Erick Morillo, Neverdogs, Latmun, Kaiserdisco, Phil Weeks, Mihai Popoviciu, Nick Curly, Green Velvet, Donald Glaude and Lee Foss, among others. Katopodis is an active member of H3F (Happy Three Friends), a fusion of catchy beats, groovy basslines and an hypnotic groove trio consisting of Nicolás Caprile, Jesús Chicco and Katopodis.
