- KatrinKa is an artist of Russian origin, but this year celebrates her tenth anniversary of moving to London. As a classically-trained pianist, KatrinKa brings her skill, unique style and ear for engaging music to bear on her original productions, remixes and performances. Behind the decks, KatrinKa is making waves as an extremely professional and versatile booking, playing a variety of genres including deep and tech house, techno, lounge and nu-disco. As a producer, this up-and-coming talent is building a reputation for emotive, enticing and melodic grooves. In 2008 KatrinKa began to produce her own tracks, releasing her debut EP on Swedish label Spirit Soul Records in 2013, and following up with a 2014 remix and her second EP on the same imprint earlier this year. In 2013 she entered and won a contest for producers organised by Berlin-based label Steyoyoke, who released her winning track 'Far Too Far' later that same year. In 2015, KatrinKa signed to London-based label Chapter 24 Records, releasing her Edition of 'Where Did You' by Twelve Minds in February and following up with her own 'Echo Gnomic' EP in May. The EP has been a huge success, receiving support from the likes of Sasha, Nicole Moudaber, DJ T, Guy J and BBC Radio 1's B. Traits, and was also featured on the home page of Beatport during the week of its release. As one of Chapter 24's core artists, KatrinKa is a resident at their regular 'Gather Round' parties and a contributor to their ever-popular 'Telling Tales' series of mixes.
