After touring clubs & establishing s..Originally hailing from Tunis, but having clearly arrived on the global scene nearly a decade ago, Kay has long since cemented his name in the pages of dance music industry. After touring clubs, making clubbers discover underground music, a music that is going to be some years later the main sound of clubbing in Tunis, He soon get involved in studio work. After some first months at the studio, His Edit of Daniele Papini & Ricardo Ferri "Los Draio" got premiered on Hernan Cattaneo's podcast. That encouraged the young man to make his debut release in collaboration with some talented producers friends like Wez Saunders who happens to be now the managing director of Defected Records, One of the biggest labels in the industry. Short after that, Kay came up with "I'm Dead Twice", a major success in the music industry, with plays from Hernan Cattaneo and Markus Schulz in addition to great support and feedbacks from all around the world. His collaboration with the ukrainian producer Gvozdini got featured on Pole Folder radioshow, and played live by Sasha in Woodstock Bloemendaal (NL). His rework of the the classic "Night Light" by Charlie May appeared on Hernan Cattaneo's podcast, and been hammered by the man him self and Nick Warren in every corner of the globe. Playing numerous music styles in a single set, being influenced by House and Funk without really having the chance to produce any, Kay released numerous House EPs under his real name Khalil Touihri. His efforts making his project a great deal of variety, earned him the support of, Deep House breaking through DJ back then, Adeline, who was constantly throwing his "My Love is Gone" in her Ibiza DJ Sets. Introducing his favourite dark and melodic side again, Kay came up with "Words Of Wisdom" premiered by Hernan Cattaneo, and featured on Traum Schallplatten alongside Extrawelt, Minilogue, Dominik Eulberg, among others. Kay collaborated with numerous talented producers around the planet, but he's also the founder of the duo Deus Ex, who's Techno rework of the classic arabic patrimony tune "Halfaouine" is worldwide acclaimed, and a 4 tracks EP on Be One Record, Superstar DJ Miguel Bastida's label as well. He's an active part of the Kollektik collective which holds the best DJs in the local scene, has established a versatile Live Act with Karben from Kollektik studio, and the two partners are curently working on some exciting new stuff.
