- Exploring all the possibilities of low frequencies through unpredictable and aggressive rhythmic connections, Brazil-base new media and sound artist KENY/\, who also performs under KENYA20Hz is DJ, Performer, Producer and Curator.KENYA20Hz is a brazilian artist - who stands out as DJ, Producer, Curator and Journalist. In 2014, as one of the selected in a Red Bull Music initiative located in Rio de Janeiro she stood out for her researchers on Underground Bass Music. Since 2016, she construct her name in the artistic community as a musician able to connect Black Music and Electronic Scene, becoming resident in parties around Brazil of both segments as DUBSTEP NA RUA (SP), BREAKZ (RJ), BRUK (RJ) and RED MONKEY (RJ). In 2017, she made her first international perform as headliner of ‘’Bullybass’’ - the first South American party focused in Dubstep/Bass in Argentina. Since 2018, she start her evolvement with journalistic and artistic projects guided on studies about Technology and Underground Scene, in this same year she was selected to perform at Ibirapuera Planetarium in São Paulo with her A/V Perfomance (TELEPATHUS) on ‘’Comuna Intergalática’ Festival focused in Art and Spacial Sciences. Later this year, she integrated an art residence runned by Oi Futuro and British Council (ASA) with gathered only women sound artists, at this same time she was invited to host a night show (Festa Mix) at a National Radio Station (Rádio Mix), where as Host and Curator, she opened space for POC artists performances. She continues her intense activity, participating at recognized festivals, parties, and projects as SP NA RUA, ODD, Mamba Negra, Voodohop, Metanol, Beatwise, Wobble, publicity campaigns ruined by international companies as Nike, Converse, BECKS, Spotify ADIDAS and receiving invites for worldwide web-radios as RINSE France, Brasil Grime Show, Veneno Radio and Na Manteiga Radio. In 2019 she topped of the International Festival ‘’Novas Frequências’’ with her perfomance (HOLOXUM) exploring concepts of Holography and Spirituality and got also invited to open Africa Bambaata concert tour on Brazil. Currently she is co-creator and resident at V/\L/\, collective-party focused on inventive sound installations and inclusion of artists that bring social and creative diversity, in parallel she is working in the launch of her release EP.
