I've been somewhat unhealthily obsessed about music for as long as I can remember. Coming from a family of musicians I've been engulfed in sound from an early age but it was the drum n bass of the mid nineties that really sparked my interest in dance music. Taking LTJ Bukem and Fabio as inspiration I started to buy records, learnt to DJ and bought a load of studio kit. As the drum n bass scene started to lose fascination I turned to the 4/4 template of house and quickly settled into djing with John Ashman as Sonicvisions. Although still regularly djing, I took a break from production as the day job, the running of the graphic design company Nebulo Strata, had become all-consuming. The move to using a computer based studio made for a much more flexible way of working, inspiring me to get making tunes again and the artist Keydin was born. In 2008 I teamed up with Alien FM to create Sideways Recordings, a platform to extend our local underground scene to a larger audience. Having had four releases on Sideways, all receiving good reviews and support from across the DJ spectrum, I have expanded my output to include remixes for Sideways’ own Citizen Black, Cubism’s Lunacy Sound Division and Stripped Digital’s Wez Saunders, Trendy Mullet and Savior Faire Musique. 2012 brings more remixes and an artist ep called 'Remember' which is my most dancefloor orientated release to date.
