- From the time that she purchased her first pair of turntables in 2001, Amy Unland a.k.a. Kid Delicious has been dedicated to electronic music. Beginning her career in St. Louis under the pseudonym Kid Delicious, she hit the scene with unmatched enthus..Velocity Promote Group voted Kid Delicious “Best All Around DJ” and “Best Promoter” in 2004. During that year she also won “The Dance Music Master Mix Off Competition”, a semi-annual DJ competition. In the beginning of 2005 she won another DJ competition sponsored by a St. Louis newspaper called The Riverfront Times. As the winner of this competition she had the opportunity to perform amongst the world’s top DJs at the annual “Ultra Music Festival” in Miami, Florida. In 2006 Amy was voted "Best Club DJ" by the City of St. Louis in The Riverfront Times annual reader's poll music awards, making her the first female DJ ever to win this award. In 2007 she relocated to Los Angeles, California where she played at clubs and lounges throughout the West Coast area and began working on producing her own original tracks. Amy relocated to Chicago in 2010 where she began DJing and producing under the name Amy Unland. She currently plays at some of the city’s top venues such as Primary, Rodan and the world famous Spybar. She was also a resident at SSS where she was involved in throwing some of the best warehouse parties in Chicago. When she is not in the booth you can find her in the studio focusing on production. She is currently signed to several labels, including Evoked Records and Worldwide Exclusive Records, which have released her original tracks and remixes.
